# What is a high-hazard business in first aid at work legislation?

## This is where the workplace has higher level hazards such as chemicals or dangerous machinery or where the work activities involve special hazards such as working in confined spaces.

A first aid needs assessment should take into consideration the specific conditions of your working environment, your workforce and any hazards or risks that could be present.
