# Who do first aid regulations apply to?

## The first aid at work regulations apply to all organisations.

The first aid at work regulations apply to all organisations including those with fewer than five employees and the self-employed who are still required to have adequate first aid provisions in place. 

This means that regardless of industry scope or size, employers or duty holders have a responsibility to implement the necessary first aid resources in place to be compliant with [HSE](https://www.hse.gov.uk/firstaid/) regulations.
